Hi, my name is Dana Cheshareck and I am the newest addition to the IVCIL staff. My role here is the Community Reintegration/Money Follows the Person Coordinator.
Prior to joining, I worked at Morris Hospital while pursing my education at both Joliet Junior College and then on to Eastern Illinois University to received my degree in Family and Consumer Sciences with a concentration in Family Services.
It was at this point in my life I had foot reconstructive surgery. Ten days after having the surgery I went in for my check up to find that my circulation was cut off and foot had died. After many surgeries trying repair the area, I was left permanently disabled in my right foot. Through the years with having my disability it has taught me to look and perceive things in a different lens. I am completely blessed that my life took me down this path and that I am able to work/help people with similar situations. It is with my personal experience that I hope I can bring the best care and quality to this position and the consumers I can help.
If you are an under 60 in a nursing home, or have a family member under 60 who wants to leave but does not know how to get started, please give me a call at (815)224-3126 ext. 19, or e-mail me at crc@ivcil.com.
